A veteran of the Great Patriotic War Bayzhanov Sarsenbek lives in the village Kerdelі, Shiely district, where the production division of Uranenergo LLP is located.

This year he turned 96 years old. Unfortunately, today he is the only remaining veteran in the district. Iskakov Daurzhan Mukhamedzhanovich, General Director of Uranenergo LLP, personally decided to congratulate the veteran of the Great Patriotic War at home. There were congratulations on the upcoming holiday, wishes of health, optimism, pep.

Also within the framework of the republican social and charitable project "Zhenіs", events were held to honor the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers in the village of Taukent, Kyzemshek. A gala concert was organized with the participation of a children's dance group and local artists. There were songs of the war years, poems with congratulations. Today, only four veterans live in the villages.

All veterans (in the amount of 5 people) were given greeting cards, cash gifts (30,000 tenge for each veteran) fruit baskets and gift baskets. Also, at the congratulations local media were invited to cover the festive events.
